The latest version of its VPN includes a native ad blocking module that removes banners, pop ups, and even video ads from websites. This improves the browsing experience. Blocking intrusive ads helps users save bandwidth and reduces the likelihood of adware (opens new tab).

Bitdefender’s anti-tracking feature prevents advertisers and websites from collecting location, device type and other data about its users’ online activities to prevent online profiling.

Bitdefender Premium VPN now allows users to whitelist trusted sites so they can make exceptions from ad blocking or ant-tracking features. This is done by adding URLs of trusted domains (opens in new window) to a whitelist.

Bitdefender’s VPN service works on Windows, macOS and iOS devices. The company’s new anti-tracker, ad blocking, and whitelist capabilities are available to all users.
